One of the major problems we have with family law is that the situation is not amenable to reaching agreement. The fundamental injustice of the winner take all presumption of the courts leads to bitter fighting. Once we establish that the courts will enforce equality of post separation parenting (rather than the indentured servitude they dish out now), the issues of custody, access, and payments will simply die (just as the other issues related to divorce and separation have died). The term "primary caregiver" was invented after the "the tender years" doctrine was discredited and, in fact, outlawed in most jurisdictions of the western world. This new term permitted the misandric courts to continue to give women custody of children. She threatened, intimidated and shcemed to get "her way" even though it may have been unsound. When the separation began she got near free legal aid and I was stuck with dismal stories of unjust abuse toward men and a masssive legal bill added to an already tight budget. The first thing her and her attorney did was to try to find (witch hunt) some cause for accusation of domestic abuse (apparently the women can yell all she wants, but if the man yells.........well). The second hearing in front of a magistrate, her and her attorney said to my plight of working 2 jobs, maintaining a home and having 40% of my pay stripped away (due to arrearance, spousal support; only mule/males have to work) that maybe now I will learn my lesson. Afterall we are talking about justice, bigotry and bias in domestic courts. Anybody picking up on this blatant assault against a group of american citizens? Yet everybody knows about this and nobody talks about it. If you do it to any other group it's hate crime.
